About EuroAsia.News
Editorial Standards
EuroAsia.News reports on the economies, infrastructure and politics connecting Europe, Eurasia and Asia. These standards describe how our journalism is produced and what readers can hold us to.
Sourcing and verification
Every report is built on identifiable evidence: official statistics, corporate and regulatory filings, tender and customs records, primary documents, on-the-record interviews and verified reporting by established outlets. Where a claim rests on a single source, we say so in the text.
Numbers are checked against the issuing body's own publication wherever it exists. When a figure cannot be independently confirmed, it is attributed rather than stated as fact. Machine translation of non-English material is reviewed before publication.
News, analysis and opinion
Reported news carries no editorial judgement beyond the selection of facts. Analysis interprets evidence and is labelled as such in the kicker or standfirst. Opinion reflects the named author's own view and never appears without attribution. Readers should always be able to tell which of the three they are reading.
Corrections
We correct errors promptly and visibly rather than quietly deleting them. Our process, including how to report a mistake, is set out in the corrections policy.
Transparency
Articles carry a byline, an issue date, a publication time and an update time. Where a story draws on documents that readers can inspect themselves, those documents are listed in a “Sources & primary documents” section at the end of the article.
Where artificial-intelligence tools assist with research, translation or drafting, the output is reviewed, verified and edited by a human editor before publication. Editorial responsibility always rests with the newsroom.
Conflicts of interest and commercial content
Advertising and sponsored placements are sold and produced entirely separately from the newsroom. Commercial material is visually distinct and labelled; advertisers have no sight of, or influence over, editorial coverage. Staff do not report on companies or assets in which they hold a personal interest.
